It works well in conditions where weather only permits one big hay crop per year - primarily due to location of crop being grown. Instinct works well with grasses such as Orchardgrass, Brome(s), Timothy and Fescue for silage, dry hay and winter grazing once hard frost has hit the field and bloat conditions are minimized.
